Week 11 Newsletter

Today was our very first speech of the year: Pumpkin Speeches! Everyone brought in a pumpkin they had carved or decorated and then told a narrative story about their pumpkin. We had some very creative and interesting pumpkin characters and everyone did a great job giving a speech in the front of the room.

We are also nearing the end of the first trimester. Time is going by so quickly! Report card conferences are fast approaching. You can sign up for a conference time HERE or just confirm your appointment. I look forward to meeting with all of you in a few weeks.


Next week is full of activities! Please make sure you take a look at the calendar of events below to keep track of everything.

Week 10 Newsletter

What a fun week filled with so much spirit! Friday was our Mohr Tech Trek and I loved seeing everyone's Aloha spirit. Our class did a great job running around the field, gathering donations, and enjoying a chance to win many fun prizes! We had several winners from our class for the big raffle prizes. I'm so glad everyone had such a great time participating.






Last week was Outdoor Ed and we had an amazing time! Camp Campbell was a truly beautiful home to us for those 4 days and it was great to see so many smiles on everyone's faces. is our Narrative Halloween Speeches. 

Students received the information a few weeks ago, and the time has come for our first speech! Instructions can be found HERE.
