Just a quick update on a few important things happening over the next few weeks...
Report Cards
Today (2/22) your student will have their progress report and Friday folder as usual. This is the last one for a few weeks as I start to work on report cards. Report cards will be coming home on Friday, March 8th.
Read-a-thon
In your Friday Folder you will see a sheet about the upcoming Read-a-thon to help raise funds for our school and classroom libraries. The PTA is sponsoring this event. Next week is full of spirit days to help spread the word.
- Monday, 2/25- Fox in Socks. Wear silly or mismatched SOCKS.
- Tuesday, 2/26- Green Eggs & Ham. Wear GREEN.
- Wednesday, 2/27- Horton Hears a Who. Random Acts of Kindness
- Thursday, 2/28- Cat in the Hat. Wear your favorite HAT.
- Friday, 3/1- Favorite Things. Dress as your favorite story CHARACTER.
Math Test
The Module 4 math test is on Friday, March 1st. This will be the first math grade of the 3rd trimester report card.
Class Economy
Our next Pay Day is on Thursday, February 28th. Our next Class Auction will be on Monday, March 4th.
Science Fair
Please see my email with all the latest information about the upcoming science fair. This is 100% optional and is open to anyone wanting to participate.
