Dear Parents,
This week Mohr School is participating in a district-wide effort to support the Wheelchair Foundation.
The 3 primary goals of the project are:
- raise awareness about the need for mobility in the world
- sensitize students to the issues faced by people with intellectual/developmental and physical disabilities
- raise money to provide wheelchairs for those in need
Our monetary goal at Mohr is to collect donations that represent $3.50 per student. That would be the equivalent of providing approximately 14 wheelchairs for people who are unable to afford one. For the price of a school lunch, students can change a life by giving the gift of hope and mobility.
