Week 31 Newsletter

Can you believe there are only 7 more weeks of elementary school? These last few weeks will be jam packed with tons of activities!

Over Spring Break our classroom projector was finally installed in the ceiling! All the money we helped raise during our Tech Trek went to adding ceiling mounted projectors into our Kinder, 4th, 5th, and music classrooms. We have so much more room! The whole flow of our classroom has changed and the students were so excited to see how different the classroom looked. Not to mention we have speakers in our ceilings. Now everyone can hear our videos and music better.

This week we finished a few projects. After reading the novel, Tuck Everlasting students created a map of the important locations that influenced the story. Students also took the end of the novel test today, which was open notebook and open book, focusing on several aspects of the story.

We've been working on our Argument writing, researching the topic of chocolate milk in schools. We have a lot of passionate opinions in the room. After many flash drafts, revisions, and editing we finally wrote our final drafts today.
